When baby Theo’s birth mother surrenders him to adoption, she has 2 months to change her mind. During this time 2-day-old is entrusted to Jean (Gilles Lellouche, C’est la vie!), his initial foster parent, while his case primary worker Karine (Sandrine Kiberlain, Violette ) and her team monitor his wellbeing as they search for potential parents for the little boy.

Their collective drive to ensure the infant has a secure future is at the heart of the film, as we gain various levels of insights into their relationships and struggles; both personal and professional.
