Through this practical workshop for musicians working in mental health settings – or interested in doing so – Jane O’Brien Moran will share her extensive experience and participants will learn valuable methods for engaging people in music making, wherever they are on their recovery journey.

Jane O’Brien Moran has been performing for many years in a range of contexts. A graduate of the BA in Music at WIT, majoring in jazz vocal performance, Jane currently directs the Passage East Singers, having directed the Tramore Gospel Singers for 16 years. Jane is one of the team of artists delivering Waterford Healing Arts Trust’s Iontas Arts and Mental Health programme, in partnership with Waterford Wexford Mental Health Services.
